Israel's Guy J burst onto the electronic music scene in August of this year with releases on two highly respected, but diverse, institutions. With a 3 track EP for Deep Focus (a label known for unleashing upcoming progressive talent) and a huge single for Electribe (home of D-Nox's Seven Hours), Guy J immediately caught our attention with his unique production and varied sound.
His first EP for Proton dabbles across a variety of genres-- Minimal, Electro House, Progressive, and Techno. 'Boxing Day' has been selected to open Jay Epoch's next Particles compilation, while the title track 'Funkijunki' is a house genre blender that initially caught the ear of D-Nox earlier this year.
Look out for a new show on Proton hosted by Guy along with a more progressive fueled EP coming in the second quarter of 2007!
